We are excited to see the response from women entrepreneurs across the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region to our first open call for applications for growth funding for those with existing businesses. Our women entrepreneurs in the region are building amazing and diverse businesses indeed!
We have enjoyed meeting several women entrepreneurs from across the region during our roadshow that kicked off in Cape Town and took us to Durban, Gaborone, Lusaka and Joburg and will culminate in Windhoek this weekend. It’s not too late to apply. You still have a few days left before the 1st December 2019 deadline!
A quick reminder that we do not require an elaborate business plan at the application stage. We would however like for you to demonstrate:
– That you have an existing business for at least a year
– Your business is women-owned (at least 50%)
– You have demonstrated some growth already
– You want to grow further and there is potential for growth in your market
– You are based in SADC
